Profile
Sarah Franklin is a Professor of History, specializing in Latin America, slavery, and gender. She received her B.A. from Auburn Ä¢¹½Ä¢¹½ and her Ph.D. from Florida State Ä¢¹½Ä¢¹½. She is the author of Women and Slavery in Nineteenth-Century Colonial Cuba (Rochester, NY: Ä¢¹½Ä¢¹½ of Rochester Press, 2012). She has been a member of the faculty at UNA since 2010.
