Ä¢¹½Ä¢¹½ Advising Services is committed to helping students adjust to college life and navigate academic resources. UAS Advising services include advising for first- and second-year students in CASE and COEHS majors, guiding students in the Academic Recovery and Monitoring program, and preparing all students for academic success in our Success Coaching Programs.
The USC offers workshops throughout the semester that are open to any students. We will attend classes upon request to present on one of the following topics:
- Advising 101: DegreeWorks, The Advising Process, and How to Register for Classes
- Avoiding the All-Nighter: Time Management
- Getting over the Fear of Testing
- Note-taking 101: Making Sense of the Lecture
- Study Smart: Using your Academic Resources

Tutor.com™ connects you with expert online tutors who can help you with over 200 subject areas, as well as provides access to study tools and lessons and instructional videos. This FREE tutoring service can be accessed from any Internet-ready device so you can have access to a tutor when and where you need one. To get connected to a live tutor, log in to any course in Canvas and select “Tutor.com: 24/7 Online Tutoring.”

The Center for Writing Excellence offers support for any writing assignment associated with a currently registered course.
The Mathematics Learning Center offers support for a math course in which a student is currently registered.
The USC offers several testing services, including the GRE, ACT, SAT, PRAXIS, and CLEP.

Students can schedule an appointment with any USC Advisor in . Select the advisor for your major or academic concern to see their availability and schedule an appointment.
